Update: Decision about the Notting Hill police station delayed

The bidding for the Notting Hill police station has been extended to 13 May, which means that the decision whom to sell to won't be taken before the middle of May. The reason for the extension isn't known (this will be the third extension), but it's probably a combination of lack of bids and the restrictions on taking politically sensitive decisions during the weeks leading up to an election, in this case the local elections on 5 May. This extension means that the ongoing petition to keep the police station for continued community use can run for several more weeks.
